The second day-Tuesday 16.05.2017

Teachers are standing in front of the hydro-electric plant in Porąbka- Żar
  They are standing in front of the huge tank, which
is usually full of water pumped from the Międzybrodzie Lake.
 
 They are standing on the top of the Mountain Zar
 
After visiting the hydro-electric plant the international group of teachers went to the Bread Cottage in Górki Małe to learn how people used to make cheese, butter and bread in the previous centuries.

                  The guide is showing the old tools, which were used by the farmers in the past
               In the evening the whole group of teachers went to the regional restaurant
                                   in Żywiec,  where they were trying the local cuisine.
  
 
The chef of the restaurant gave us a lecture, in which described traditional dishes eaten by inhabitants of the town and villages in the Beskidy Mountains.
He gave recipes of the following dishes:
-sour cabbage soup with a snout,
- sour cabbage soup with ribs,
-noodles with cabbage,
-sorrel soup,
-big dumplings of senior shepherd,
-potato pancakes baked on the baking metal,
-stuffed cabbage,
-sheep cheese with cakes,
-oats biscuits.
