Phisical fitness index
In March PE
teachers in all cooperating schools made a physical fitness test.
The test
was based on physical fitness index by K. Zuchora.
The checked skills:
1 Speed - run fast in place for 10 seconds with a high
lifting knees
and clap under the
raised leg. We count the number of claps.
2
Jumping - long jump from place. The
distance is measured in own feet.
Round the result to full
feet.
3 The
strength of arms - overhang on the stick – different levels of difficulty
4
Flexibility – slope in front - continuous slow motion slope of the trunk
forward without bending legs at the knees.
5 Abdominal
muscle strength - lying back, lift your
legs just above the ground.
Perform as long as
possible- "scissors cross."
6 Continuous run in a place
at the rate of about 120 steps per minute - we measure the time.

Leaflet
According to the decisions made during the first project meeting of the
partner schools coordinators and supervising teachers in October 2015, the
first leaflet was designed and it will be printed and given to the parents of
the partner schools' students. The main objective of the leaflet is to
propagate healthy lifestyle and the environment protection.
The leaflet is advertising our project's objectives and it includes following ideas:
A healthy lifestyle helps you to keep and improve your health and well-being. 1.Exercising daily brings increase of life span, lowers the risk of diseases, higher bone density and weight loss.
2. Fruit and vegetables are important for well-being and our health. Experts suggest that we should have 5-9 servings of fruits/vegetables of different colors as they contain anti-oxidants and they are good for health because they remove free radicals in our body that damage our cells. They also have a lot of vitamins and minerals needed for our body and mind! Eat small meals! Eat when you feel hungry, and stop when you’re full! Say NO fat and sugary food! Prepare your meals.
3.Reduce stress by getting enough sleep, meditation, which quietness your mind and calms your soul! Love yourself and get rid of the negative thoughts you hear. Breathe deeply! Do not smoke cigarettes!
4. Cut out soda and caffeine and go for plain water or fresh fruit juice instead! Do not drink alcohol- it impacts the proper functioning of our brain, liver, lungs, and other major organs, bring a water bottle when you go out!
How
can you protect the environment? You mustn’t burn the rubbish!
1. Use compact fluorescent light bulbs: It is true that these bulbs are more expensive, but they last much longer and they can save energy and in the long term your electricity bill would be reduced.
2. Donate:
You have tons of clothes or things you want to get rid of. If they are still usable, give them to someone who needs them. You may also choose to give them to associations. These associations may sell them and collect a little money. Not only will you protect the environment, but you will also contribute to a good cause.
3. Turn off your devices:
When you do not use a house device, turn it off. For example, if you don't watch TV, turn it off. Turn off the light when you leave a room (even if you intend to return.) It's an easy habit to take up which will help you save a lot of money.
4. Walk or cycle:
Driving is one of the biggest causes of pollution. If you want to use your car, ask yourself the following question: do I really need my car? Walk or use your bike if the journey is a short one.
5. Detergent:
Follow the recommended dose of detergent to wash your clothes or dishes.
6. Leaky faucets:
Watch leaky faucets, which can cause a significant increase in the water bill. An average of 120 liters of water can be wasted due to a dripping faucet.
7. Rainwater:
Think of recovering rainwater. This water can be used for different purposes.
