On Monday, students from Poland, Turkey and the Netherlands and their teachers visited the school in Uetze. The students could see the German school working conditions. The head teacher  of the school, showed the guests their chemistry and science  classrooms, computer lab , teacher room, school office, and very interesting room for only the oldest students. Guests were introduced to the general organization of the school activities and  modern equipment of the classrooms.

In the afternoon there was a test of  knowledge of partner’s countries. "Welcome to the country quiz". Among the questions about each country participating in the project  there were questions about the area of the country, the number of tourists visiting the country, its capital, the most famous legends and dishes, the prime minister, flag history, etc.

At the end of the scheduled time, everyone was invited to a healthy lunch, with lots of vegetables, in a school canteen.

On Tuesday the students and the teachers  took part in a trip to Berlin. They saw the Bundestag and could walk along the streets of Berlin  but the visit  to the Museum of Nature was the most important for them. They could admire some exhibitions and were informed about them.  The students loved the visit to the museum, which is really huge and a valuable form of aducation . It encourages visitors to support the efforts to protect endangered species and save the Earth.

Wednesday was the day when Erasmus + participants took part in lessons together with their German hosts.
After lunch, guests took part in a workshop in the school garden. Students from all countries planted herbs together. These were the most commonly used in kitchen spices such as sage, thyme, mint. The classes were supervised by German teachers. The purpose of the workshop was to familiarize students with herbal species, their origin and important role in human nutrition and their positive impact on human health.

On Thursday, a large group of pupils from the partner countries of the project, with the help of their German teachers, went to Hannover to visit the local ZOO. The Hannover ZOO has turned out to be a unique place where good conditions  have been created for captive animals. There are large runways with varied constructions of the area, which imitate the natural environment, provide the animals with space and access to proper care.

Students were able to get acquainted with the characteristic features of the landscape and environment in which the spicies live.

Pupils could also see how the people enter the wildlife world and coexist with it.

On Friday, all the pupils met at the school in Uetze. They  were divided into three groups and participated in three kinds of workshops . First group prepared a refreshing day cream for themselves or for their mothers. At the beginning they learned how harmful substances are in the creams bought in stores and  then they made their own cream according to the recipe from the healthy and natural ingredients.

The second group had culinary classes with using potatoes. Some students made spiral potato chips fried in deep oil and others baked, sliced potatoes in peels sprinkled with herbs and served them with a sauce.

The last group of students produced a unique pizza with potatoes and pesto.
The dishes made by the students were eaten together by the students and the teachers.

The last project workshop was to carry out a potato battery so that the little lamp came on.
It was the example how  easy we can obtain energy.

In the afternoon all students and teachers participated  in  karaoke contest and had a meal. The food was delicious. It consisted of traditional healthy dishes, including plenty of salads and home-made breads. Food was prepared by the parents of the students involved in the project.
