Meeting with a dietician

On 29 April 2016 students of our school have a meeting with a dietitian.

It was the implementation of the school project "Live healthy in a healthy environment" Erasmus +.

Mrs Sylvia Brzozowska, the dietitian, gave a lecture on the principles of nutrition and its impact on the functioning of the body. She also presented the nutrition pyramid, which is the basis for planning the daily diet so that the nourishment was balanced and rich in all the nutrients necessary to good health. Then, a workshop was held. Students analyzed the content of typical food and drinks consumed by them. They analyzed the content of juices, chips, energy drinks, yoghurts, crisps or jellies. Students can ask questions and had a discussion
We hope that this meeting will deepen the students' knowledge on healthy eating and encourage them to use the rules presented by the  dietitian.
